Chef Kuldeep has worked in several Michelin starrred restaurants across countries while acquiring the required skills for his own venture. This disciplined training has helped him develop his unique style and in defining himself as a Chef.
Mustaq has worked as a Manager in top notch groups in London after which he joined the Kricket group in 2016 as the General Manager. In early 2018, they met in Kricket and realized they have similar goals, good food and a penchant for sharing the same. They then decided to bring together over two decades of combined experience to work on a new project, Republic, which played to both their strengths and interests.
Republic is a realized vision of both Kuldeep and Mustaq, representing a dynamic, eclectic, and evolving India. The restaurant ethos is deeply rooted in traditions but is sophisticated and imaginative at the same time.
Both of them have a passion for Indian food and look forward to injecting new energy into the Indian dining scene in Chiswick. The restaurant is located on Chiswick High Road, which is known to be a leafy, affluent district with a village feel.
Our dishes are made with locally sourced seasonal ingredients, as far as it deems attainable, and they’re crafted to provide you with a healthy and a tasty experience.
